The Linux Foundation published a shared AI discovery exchange guide for comments Draft

On 4 August, members of the Open Security AI Alliance were developing new guidelines to enhance cyber-security protection for smart AI, as the annual Black Hat Safety Congress opened today in Las Vegas, according to the British Weida blog. At present, the membership of the Union is over 120 institutions. The Linux Foundation published today a draft consultation paper entitled Sharing AI Discovery Exchange Guide (SAFE). It is a proposed set of guiding principles aimed at transforming cybersecurity incidents in the smart AI area into a protective capability shared across the ecosystem. The SAFE guide was drafted by the Open Security AI Coalition working group. Alliance members, including Young Weida, Cisco Systems, CrowdStrike, Hugo Face and Red Hat, are working with the Linux Foundation to support the initial proposal. The SAFE Guide contains a number of recommended measures, including: the collection and analysis of AI security incidents and “attempted incidents” in a confidential manner; notification of affected parties; identification of recurring security control failures; and the issuance of evidence-based operational recommendations to reduce risks throughout the system。
