CoreWeave plans to launch an Asian market through Indonesian data centres

On 4 August, the AI Cloud Service, CoreWeave Inc., is expanding its operations to an area with an acute and rapidly growing need for computing capacity by launching the first data centres in the region. In a statement, the company stated that it planned to build three new data centres outside the United States, all located in Indonesia, with a total capacity of 360 MW. The company would invest billions of dollars in the project, and the data centre was expected to be operational in 2028, targeting laboratories, start-ups and business clients in South-East Asia; billions of dollars would be invested in the project, but no specific estimates could be provided。
