Iran states that negotiations with Oman on the Strait of Hormuz are “positive”
On 5 August, the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs indicated that negotiations between Iran and Oman to ensure the safety of shipping in the Straits of Hormuz were continuing and that discussions were currently focusing on the delineation of safe passages into and out of the Straits.
