BIP-110 SUPPORTERS PREPARE FOR EMERGENCY RESPONSE TO REPLACE MINERS IN CASE OF OBSTRUCTION

On 5 August, Bitcoin News sent a letter on platform X stating that Bitcoin developer Chris Guida had stated that he had re-adapted the change code to the latest version of Bitcoin Knots as an emergency programme when miners refused to send a BIP-110 signal. The proposal will be used as a last-resort option to replace the existing mining network when the main mine pool is considered not to support BIP-110 soft fork. Luke Dashjr stated that he hoped that the programme would not be needed, “but it might be best to prepare well in advance, in case”.
