Figma CEO voluntarily relinquished $46 million in equity incentives to restore investor confidence
On 6 August, according to Bloomberg, Chief Executive Officer Digma Inc., Dylan Field, voluntarily renounced some $46 million in corporate equity incentives, an initiative aimed at re-establishing investor confidence and addressing concerns about artificial intellectual subversion. In its submission on Wednesday, Figma indicated that the waiver was voluntary and that no alternative incentive had been granted. Field was to have acquired approximately 2.4 million shares in category B on 1 July. Category B equities give Field greater control over companies and are ready to be converted to category A stocks traded in the market. On 1 July, the closing value of category A equities was $19.49。
