Re-engineered encryption fund hold: GSC plus BNB, AI remove NEAR, DeFi sell UNI

On 6 August, Grayscale Investments released the results of the rebalancing of the multi-asset fund in the second quarter of 2026, adjusting the number of encrypted fund configurations under the flag to each index methodology. The Grayscale DeFi Fund (DEFG) is adjusted by CoinDesk DeFi Select Index to sell Uniswap (UNI) and reallocate the funds in proportion to the existing fund component. As at 3 August, the DEFG holding stock included UNI 34.16 per cent, Ondo (ONDO) 25.44 per cent, Aave (AAVE) 19.97 per cent, Ethena (ENA) 12.19 per cent, Curve (CRV) 4.42 per cent and Lido DAO (LDO) 3.82 per cent. The Grayscale Smart Contract Fund (GSC) has adjusted its portfolio to the CoinDesk Smart Contractor System Program Programed Index to sell part of its existing assets and use the funds to buy BNB into BNB, making BNB the Fund ' s largest weighting asset. As at 3 August, GSC funds held 30.6% BNB, 29.47% ETH, 29.15% Solana (SOL), 4.88% Cardano (ADA), 2.08% Hedera (HBAR), 1.92% Avalanche (AVAX), 1.9% Sui (SUI). The Grayscale Decentralization Fund (AIFund) sells NEAR Protocol (NEAR) and reallocates the funds to other fund-based assets. As at 3 August, the Fund ' s holdings included NEAR 31.35 per cent, Bittensor (TAO) 29.15 per cent, Render (RENDER) 21.59 per cent and Filecoin (FIL) 17.91 per cent。
