The soft-and-swipe-season performance is expected to make $8.5 billion in investment in Intel
On 6 August, the quarterly net profits released by the Soft Silver Group declined less than the market expectations, largely as a result of the substantial gains from its shares in Intel, which is now closely following its large stake in OpenAI. The Tokyo-based science and technology investment company recorded 1.3 trillion yen (about $8.5 billion) in investment earnings for holding shares in Intel in the quarter to June. Intel stock prices soared at 216 per cent that season. The slowdown in the growth in the OpenAI valuation and the decline in the value of the Vision Fund portfolio were partially offset by the investment of $2 billion in Intel equities in soft silver over the past year at $23 per share。
