Bifrost: Three mobile mining ponds were attacked by a security incident and approximately 881,000 DOTs were moved

On 9 August, Bibrost indicated that security incidents had occurred in three of the platform ' s mobile mining ponds, involving vDOT single-currency mining ponds, vASTR/ASTR and vMANTA/MANTA. According to the disclosure, the attack took place on 8 August at 11:47 (UTC) and the attackers transferred the principal of the shared Keeper Vault through an unusual incentive/weight amplification mechanism, and approximately 881,150 DOTs (at the current price of approximately $720,000) were subsequently converted and transferred out of the chain. Bibrost has temporarily suspended all mobile mines and initiated a comprehensive security review. Bibrost has submitted a request for freezing and recovery to the relevant exchange and is working with compliance, security teams and law enforcement agencies to advance asset recovery. It was stressed that VDOT remained fully supported at 1:1 and was unaffected by the incident, and that the attack was limited to shared Keeper Vault, which was used by the affected mining ponds, and did not involve a bottom DOT reserve to support vDOT。
