The Iranian Foreign Minister stressed that the Strait of Hormuz had not reopened

On 9 October local time, Iranian Foreign Minister Aragzi indicated that his country was in the final stage of consultations with Oman on the restructuring of the Straits of Hormuz. At the same time, he stressed that even if the parties reached agreement on the sea lanes adjustment, that did not mean that the Strait of Hormuz was reopened, a number of conditions would still have to be met.
