The Commander of the Iranian Army has advised the U.S. forces not to set foot on Iranian territory

On 9 August, according to information reported by the Iranian Presss TV, the Iranian Army Commander, Ali Jahanshashi, stated that all forces were in “full alert” and would respond decisively to any threat to the country. This statement was made at a meeting with army commanders and personnel following a weekly inspection of ground units deployed in south-eastern Iran and along the Markran coast. “The units of the Army's ground forces are fully prepared to fight by continuous monitoring of movements and accurate follow-up of threats and will do their utmost to safeguard the border security of the Islamic Republic of Iran”, he said. He added that recent developments had exposed the “real power and capacity” of the enemy to public opinion. “If the enemy takes any action, we will respond with determination and deterrence.
