Serenity: Most AI data centres at corporate income-tap points or in late 2027

On 11 August, Serenity sent a letter indicating that Riot Platforms (RIOT) had reached an agreement with Anthropic for $9.1 billion for a 20-year term of the contract, with a total value of up to $16.1 billion if the successor extension option was fully implemented. At the same time, it stated that AMD had exercised the option of expanding the existing Riot cooperation agreement and that an additional 1GW park in Riot had signed a letter of intent with potential tenants. In terms of project progress, Serenity indicated that most of the data centre hosting concept units might concentrate on revenue points in the second half of 2027. For example, Riot's cooperation with Anthropic is planned to deliver the first 96 MW capacity in December 2027, while AMD-related 50 MW capacity is expected to be fully operational by May 2027.
