Anthropic has announced that Claude's creation will be embedded in invisible watermarks

Anthropic announced on 11 August local time that he had signed article 50 of the EU Artificial Intelligence Act, which provides for transparency of the content generated by AI. Starting on 2 August, the Claude model will embed invisible watermarks in the generation of text, while documents such as pictures will be accompanied by digitally signed trace metadata. The marking mechanism will cover all major products and access channels under Claude ' s flag, including Claude Platform (API), Claude Code, Claude Work and Claude Tag, and will apply to cloud partners connected through AWS, Google Clouds and Microsoft Foundation. In addition, the marking mechanism will be applied globally, covering all Claude ' s product lines and cooperative cloud platforms and not limited to the EU area。
