Bakkt published 2026 Q2 financial statements, achieving a net profit of $8.8 million
The digital asset infrastructure company Bakkt announced financial performance in the second quarter of 2026, achieving a net profit of $8.8 million, reversing a loss of $14.7 million during the same period last year. Revenues fell by 70 to $170.1 million during the period, mainly as a result of client transformation and weak transactions in digital assets. According to the financial statements, the profit was not driven by improvements in encryption services, but mainly from the revaluation of $98.5 million in non-cash earnings from the Indian listed company Transchem's shareholding. By the end of the quarter, Bakkt had $50.7 million in cash, cash equivalents and restricted cash, and had no long-term liabilities。
