BTC MINERS ' HANDLING FEE REVENUE FELL TO 0.71 PER CENT, WITH A 23 PER CENT DECREASE IN THE PEAK
On 13 August, CriptoQuant Analyst Axel Adler Jr. sent a communication indicating that the Bitcoin mine workers ' fee revenue had dropped to 0.71 per cent, close to the historical low of 0.69 per cent in December 2015, when the BTC price was about $394. The average of the 7-day movement of the full-web machine fell by 23 per cent to 886 ETH/s from its peak in October 2025 (approximately 1,150 ETH/s), while the BTC price fell by 49 per cent from $124,700 to $63,400 over the same period. Since mid-2025, the share of handling fees has continued to be close to or below 1 per cent, reflecting weak space competition in blocks and the almost total dependence of miners on block subsidies for their revenues. According to the analyst, while the percentage of fees is similar, it cannot be directly compared - the block incentive in 2015 was 25 BTC, now 3.125 BTC, and the historical comparison is limited to the income structure. It is more like a controlled adjustment rather than a surrender in the mining industry, and it is the return to more than 1 per cent of the fees and the maintenance and upward movement of the calculations that are the real signs of environmental change。
