SEC APPROVAL OF THE FRANKLIN FUND INVESTMENT BLOCK CHAIN GOVERNMENT MONETARY FUND

The United States Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has approved the Franklin Common Fund and the ETF to invest in its United States Government's Monetary Fund, which is based on a block chain. In its letter of no action issued on Wednesday, the investment management of the SEC indicated that, if the registered fund in Franklin held shares in the IMF, no enforcement action would be recommended under articles 17(f) and 17f-2 of the Investment Companies Act of 1940. This decision provides a means of direct access to block-chain funds for traditional Franklin investment products. The Fund ' s block chain infrastructure can handle transactions, while its traditional record-keeping layer remains part of the ownership system。
