THE UNITED STATES CFTC ANNOUNCED THE AGENDA OF THE FIRST MEETING OF THE INNOVATION ADVISORY BOARD, FOCUSING ON ENCRYPTION ASSETS, AI AND FORECAST MARKET REGULATION

On 14 August, Michael S. Selig, Chairman of the United States Commodity Futures Trading Committee, announced the agenda for the first meeting of the Innovation Advisory Board (IAC). The meeting, scheduled to take place on Thursday, 20 August, in Washington, D.C., will focus on the topics of encryption asset regulation, artificial intelligence and forecasting markets. Selig says, "The United States has long been a global centre for financial innovation. Looking forward to meeting with entrepreneurs, thinkers and builders of the CFTC Advisory Council on Innovation to explore how emerging technologies and financial products shape our markets on the new financial frontier. The public may submit comments by 27 August, and all comments received will be made public. The agenda of the meeting may be adjusted to other priorities of IAC, and the full agenda is available on the CTC official network. At the same time, the Committee emphasizes that the views and observations expressed by the Advisory Committee represent only the Committee itself and do not reflect the position of the Committee, its staff or the United States Government。
