UNIFIL continuously monitored violations of Lebanese airspace
On 13 local time, the United Nations indicated that, according to the report of the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL), UNIFIL had continuously monitored violations of Lebanese airspace since the current week, as well as Israeli military ground activities in southern Lebanon. Between 10 and 12 years, peacekeepers found 100 violations of Lebanese airspace involving drones and fighters. During the same period, UNIFIL recorded 427 flight tracks, all of which were identified as originating from IDF. In addition, this week UNIFIL continued to observe large-scale ground military activities by the Israeli forces within its so-called “mission area”, including the deployment of large armoured units, engineering operations, logistical movements, tactical patrols and troop build-up. IDF tanks, artillery, etc. were also observed firing in the area。
