Gemini Q2 net loss of $108 million, a 37 per cent increase over the same period

The Gemini exchange issued financial statements showing a net loss of $108 million in the second quarter of 2026, despite a 37-to-45.5 million increase in receipts over the same period. Exchange income fell by 38 per cent to $12.5 million and the volume of transactions fell from $11.3 billion to $3.8 billion. Income from services increased by between $149 and $23.5 million, mainly as a result of increases in credit card income and pledge income. Gemini stated that operating costs increased by 24 per cent to $122.4 million over the same period。
