Migwang set up a $250 million fund for Paradigm Fund to bet on AI infrastructure

Microcorp Technology announced the launch of the Michael Ventures Paradigm Fund, a $250 million venture to invest in start-ups that will drive the next generation of artificial intelligence. This is the third largest fund in the history of MicroVentures, increasing its cumulative capital commitments to $550 million. The fund will cover the full AI technology warehouse, including areas such as the AI model structure, computing infrastructure, enterprise-level applications and physical AI. Micron indicates that the demand for high-performance computing, memory and storage technologies is changing as AI moves from generating models to systems with reasoning, mobility and ability to interact with the real world. Paradigm Fund aims to establish more in-depth cooperation with enterprises that drive these technological changes and pre-position future AI infrastructure needs. The Fund focuses on four main directions: 1; Model Architecure: promoting the development of the AI model architecture and data infrastructure, which will affect future computing, memory and storage needs; 2; Computing Infrastructure (Compute): including memory computing, next-generation network technology and data centre efficiency optimization; 3; Enterprise AI Applications: using AI to adapt complex industries, including semiconductor design and manufacturing; 4; Physical AI (Physical AI): to cover robots and new equipment forms and extend AI capabilities to the real world. With the previous roll-out of Fund I in 2019 and Fund II in 2022, the new fund will further strengthen the company ' s investment landscape in AI. Micron argues that the AI era is still in its early stages, that future technological advances will reshape the way industry operates, and that memory and storage will be the key infrastructure underpinning the next generation of AI.
