Codex more Agent adds Luna: SOL is the supervisor, and cheap models work in bulk

OpenAI added practical capabilities to Codex ' s multi-Agent feature: SOL can now directly assign tasks to Luna. SOL is responsible for the separation of tasks and final inspection, while several faster and cheaper Luna can be performed in parallel. Previously, Codex had supported an Agent call for multiple sub-Agents, but Luna had special restrictions on carrying out its own tasks and could not be drawn directly into the team by an upper-level Agent such as SOL. OpenAI lifted the restriction this time and explicitly recommended this division of labour. SOL is suitable for complex, open missions, while Luna is suitable for clear and duplicative search, collation, extraction, classification, etc。
