Summer Mersinger: Clarity Act should be adopted as soon as possible to oppose the amendment of key provisions

Summer Mersinger, CEO of the American Block Chain Association, said that less than four weeks before the United States Senate voted on 15 September to advance the debate on Clarity Act and that reopening the provisions that had been under negotiation for months would lead to legislative failure. Mersinger stated that the changes proposed by the American Bankers Association were major policy changes that would broaden the scope of interpretation of regulators and change the scope of application of Genius Act.
