Bitcoin price validates Brandt's $58,000 forecast for a breakthrough

Bitcoin was close to $76,600 on 23 August, after reaching $79,500 two days earlier. This fluctuation triggered a discussion as to whether the projection of $58,000 to $62,000 for senior trader Peter Brandt was wrong. Brandt predicted that Bitcoin would reach this range in January, when the Bitcoin transaction price was close to $92,400. Bitcoin subsequently fell to approximately US$ 57,717 on 1 July, hovering near the target area and then began to rebound. Brandt said on January 19, "$58,000 to $62,000 is where I think it's going." Although the target was not reached in a short time, it eventually reached the projection range in the downstream of 2026. According to Fortune records, the price of bitcoin as at 1 July was $58,278, with a low point of almost $57,717. Brandt correctly identified the subsequent trade areas, but his projected two-week time frame was too short. The entire projection was described as a mistake, as bitcoin was now traded at over $76,000, ignoring the middle decline。
