According to Israeli channel 12, 23, informed sources revealed that the Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Syrian Transitional Government, Hibani, had a meeting with the Director of the Israeli Intelligence and Secret Service (Mossad), Gofman, on the same day. The meeting was reported to be “good” and aimed at calming tensions between the two countries. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Transitional Government of Syria strongly condemned the Israeli aerial attack on the Abu Zuhul airbase in Idlib, north-west of Syria, which it described as “unjustified aggression”。
