Billionaire Draper supports the Cardano DeFi accelerator
Tim Draper, a billionaire investor, supports a new accelerator aimed at transforming the Cardano-based start-up into a ready company for investors. The University of Draper, in collaboration with the Cardano and Orion Foundation, launched the APEX growth accelerator, which will close on 1 September, and the project is scheduled to begin on 5 October. The plan was designed specifically for start-ups on which there was a substantial basis, with the University of Draper calling APEX as the growth accelerator of “first-generation enterprises ready for investors”. The project is supported by the Orion Fund, a $80 million ecological fund launched by Cardano and Dreplon, dedicated to investing in companies built around Cardano. The University of Draper is an accelerated partner of the Fund, helping to create a start-up business pipeline that may eventually receive funding from the Draper Network。
