A consortium of Stripe and Advent gave up PayPal

According to Bloomberg, the consortium composed of the private equity company Advent International and the payment giant Stripe decided to abandon the plan to acquire PayPal, which had previously offered a purchase price of $53 billion. Advent, Stripe and PayPal refused to comment。
