Solana's double deflation proposal has reached the required voter threshold, with 13 hours remaining until the end

On 28 August, the double-deflation proposal for Solana, SGP-0002, met the threshold for the required number of voters, with a current participation rate of 47.26 per cent, of which 68.56 per cent voted in favour and approximately 13 hours remained until the vote was completed. The proposal is to increase the annual solana deflation rate from 15 to 30 per cent in order to accelerate the final inflation rate of 1.5 per cent — from about 5.7 to about 2.8 years — and to reduce the circulation of approximately 18.9 million SOLs within six years。
