Starkware: Quantum computer's first official defense against bitcoin encryption

Avihu Levy, a Starkware researcher, announced that the company had locked real bitcoin in storage, claiming that no quantum computer could be opened. This initiative is considered the first official defence of the greatest existential threat to Bitcoin. The programme, which does not need to be split or upgraded, operates under the existing Bitcoin rules and is online in the main network block 964,199 at a cost of between $75 and $200 each.
