Arch: Gold monetized as a valid collateral in encrypted lending
Simanshu Sahay, co-founder and chief technical officer of Arch, stated that monetized gold was becoming increasingly important in encrypted lending, especially after AAVE ' s XAUT mortgage debt had reached a ceiling of $25 million, and Arch Lending had also begun to accept two major gold coins as collateral. According to Sahay, the demand for monetized gold loans indicates that the holders are beginning to view these assets as a useful part of the digital financial system and not just as a tool to track gold prices. According to Chaos Labs ' assessment, AAVE ' s XAUT market reached a debt ceiling of $25 million at the end of January, and Chaos Labs recommended that the ceiling be raised to $30 million because it found the need to use XAUT as collateral for a stable currency。
