Iran: $7.5 billion in oil revenues transferred to the Central Bank of Iran
On 29 August, according to the Iranian media FarsNews, Iran now has sufficient oil available for sale to meet its budgetary requirements and not to be affected by restrictions on maritime transport. According to Ministry of Oil data, for the first four months of the year, the rate of realization of oil revenues planned in the budget was 99 per cent. According to FARE, the Ministry of Oil had previously allocated $7.5 billion in oil-related foreign exchange earnings to the Central Bank from foreign exchange earnings over the past few months, which could cover the Government ' s foreign exchange expenditures up to January next year.
