U.S. drone attack on the outskirts of Kyiv has killed 27 people
On 29 August, local time, President Zelensky of Ukraine informed that the village of Mira in the outskirts of Kiev had been under continuous attack by Russian military drones since last night, and that rehabilitation efforts were progressing in an orderly manner. The attack hit a warehouse in the village and caused an explosion, causing extensive loss of life and damage to infrastructure. To date, 27 people have been killed and dozens injured as a result of the attack, and more than 370 people have completed their emergency evacuations, which are continuing. According to the UCPU, ammunition is prohibited from being stored in residential areas and in the vicinity of civilian buildings, and will be followed up on the basis of the findings of the investigation, in accordance with the law, for decision-making and failure to perform duties.
