Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister says he's not in a hurry to reopen the Strait of Hormuz

On 30 August, local time, on 29 August, the Deputy Foreign Minister of Iran, Garibabadi, stated that Iran and Oman had reached an understanding on the passage arrangements in the Strait of Hormuz, but that the understanding would not automatically enter into the implementation phase. Garibabadi stated that the understandings reached between Iran and Oman on the Straits of Hormuz would not enter into the implementation phase unless the United States fulfilled its obligations and that Iran was not in a hurry to reopen the Straits of Hormuz.
