KOREA'S KOSPI INDEX ROLLS UP AND LOCAL ISSUERS CALL IT THE PENSION FUND

On 31 August, the tailboard of the Korea KOSPI index went up by 0.15 per cent, after a decline to 3.6 per cent. According to the Samsung stock sales dealer Roy Lim, the pension fund apparently bought KOSPI shares in a tailings transaction, focusing mainly on the technology unit.
