Sale of confiscated Anthropic shares by the United States Government, sale price and financial whereabouts undisclosed
The Government of the United States sold the confiscated shares of Caroline Ellison and Nishad Singh in Anthropic, which had invested $10 million and $40 million, respectively, in Anthropic financing. Based on the Anthropic valuation of $965 million, the value of the two equity holders ranged from $4.17 million to $50.3 million and, if valued at $20 million, the value would be approximately $544.0 million. The current value of government sales ranges from $25 million to $110 million and has not yet been transferred to the FTX insolvency administration. The representative of FTX victims, Sunil Kavuri, asked the Government to use the funds for compensation, and the United States Department of Justice stated that priority was given to providing compensation to victims。
