Iranian military: No aggression will be tolerated

On 1 September, the General Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces issued a statement on 31 August, stating that Iran would not tolerate any act of aggression and would respond more strongly to such acts, while respecting the sovereignty of neighbouring States. The statement stated that, despite the fact that a number of countries in the region had officially declared that aggressive United States forces would not be allowed to use their territory against Iran and that Iran had previously warned, United States forces continued to use the territory of those countries to attack parts of Iranian military installations. The statement stressed that the United States forces had no choice but to withdraw from the area. Those who facilitate the United States aggression against Iran should understand that all branches of the Iranian armed forces will fight side by side, crush and strike at any source of aggression.
