Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps: 2 violated tanker mines and cessation of navigation

On 2 September, the Iranian Revolutionary Guard issued a communiqué stating that the recent cold-blooded behaviour of the United States military would in no way weaken our military control over the Strait of Hormuz. We would like to inform you that a few hours ago, two tankers, at the instigation of the United States military, discharged their crews and placed them under United States control in order to enter an illegal route, resulting in a mine explosion and a forced suspension, which is now in a state of fire. The Iranian Revolutionary Guard Navy had previously warned of the dangers of crossing the mined waterways. In addition, we are ready to impose penalties against shipping companies that do not take legal routes and instead fall into the trap of the United States and turn their ships over to the enemy; these measures will soon be implemented.
