Hyperscale Data closed the Michigan mine, transferred AI operations and sold 830 BTCs
According to The Block, the NASDAQ listed company Hyperscale Data shuts down all bitcoin machines in the data centre in Michigan, United States, and uses the site for the AI computing infrastructure. The company signed a 20 MW master service agreement with a California cloud service provider, which is expected to generate approximately $1.2 billion in revenue over 20 years. The agreement includes 32 MW expansion options, if the total revenue is in right or over $3 billion. Hyperscale Data sold 830 BTCs for the transition, with a cash balance of approximately $53 million, and currently holds 275 BTCs valued at approximately $21.2 million. The company still operates around 10 MW bitcoin mining power in Montana, United States, and explores an additional 125 MW expansion。
