Palo Alto Networks buys the AI Agent seed company Console for $500 million
According to TechCrunch, Palo Alto Networks announced a $500 million cash plus stock buy-in of AI Agent's original company Console. Console was founded in 2024 and uses AI Agent to automatically perform password replacement, application access and daily IT troubleshooting. Clients include Ramp, Flock Safety and Scale AI. Palo Alto Networks plans to integrate Console into its AI-driven security platform Cortex, which will enable the security team to investigate and process security alerts in natural languages. This is the seventh purchase of Palo Alto Networks this year, a company that bought Chronosphere with $335 million in valuation, and $40 million with the initial Internet security company Koi。
