Bitcoin's four-year cycle could end, or turn to the six to eight-year rhythm

Analysts believe that bitcoin may shift from a four-year half-cycle to a six- to eight-year traditional financial rhythm, which, as distribution falls and macro-factors grow, the four-year boom and bust that Bitcoin is familiar with may be losing influence. According to the chain analyst Willy Woo, the internal supply shock of Bitcoin has become too small to dominate price behaviour as it was before. Although Bitcoin recently rebounded significantly from its low point in 2026, with a transaction price of nearly $70,000, it remains well below the $126,000 record of October 2025. The Woo view is that, while the mechanism of halving is still in place, its economic weight is diminishing。
