President Circle: Congress should improve regulation by means of the CARITY Act
In a hearing before the United States House of Representatives Financial Services Commission, President of the Circle, former Chairman of CFTC, Heath Tarbert stated that the GENIUS Act had established a federal regulatory framework for the payment of stable coins, that Congress should next complete the long-term regulatory framework for the digital asset market through the CLARITY Act, and that the GENIUS Act would enforce rules to block off-shore stable currency arbitrage, restrict intermediaries serving United States clients and ensure that foreign stable currency issuers meet comparable regulatory standards。
