Service anomalies on several AI platforms such as Downdetector: OpenAI, Claude and Grok

On 3 September, Downdetector, a web-based status monitoring website, reported that on Thursday morning, local time, several major artificial intelligence platforms had experienced service anomalies and problems with OpenAI, Claude, Grok and Cursor. Claude displays the error message: "Claude is unable to reply to your message due to unexpected capacity limitations. Please try again later.” A wrong message from Grok indicates: "Grok is currently in trouble. We're trying to get back to the service as soon as possible. Another error in Grok shows: "The model is temporarily unusable. Try other models.” Downdetector first reported service interruptions or failures in Grok and Claude at about 9 a.m. Eastern US time (Beijing time 21:00), while OpenAI's problems were reported around 10.30 a.m. Eastern US time (22:30 Beijing time)。
