The ten-year national debt of the United States has been up since 2025

On 9 July, the United States Department of the Treasury issued $39 billion for the 10-year national debt, with a 4.580 per cent median rate of return, which is the highest since February 2025, and a 4.586 per cent pre-issuance rate at 1 p.m. on New York time. The results of the bid showed that the demand was slightly higher than expected. The rate of return for the 10-year period at the end of the bid period rose by about three basis points, resulting in a slight recovery of the decline in the post-public debt and a slight improvement in the yield curve. First-class traders received 7.8 per cent, the lowest level since January; indirect bidders received 81.5 per cent and direct bidders received 10.7 per cent. The number of bids was 2.59 times, the highest since the current year, with an average of 2.51 times over the past six consecutive issuances。
