The United States Secret Service conducted a cyber-fraud operation to detect over $25 million in encrypted currency assets

On 22 July, the United States Federal Attorney ' s Office in the District of Columbia and the Washington field office of the United States Secret Service jointly announced today that over $25 million in encrypted currency assets had been seized from a number of investigations conducted by the Internet Fraud Task Force of both sides. These assets are linked to international fraud networks targeting residents of the United States and Canada and are part of the cumulative recovery of over $800 million of assets in the fraud centre, established by the United States federal prosecution in 2025。
