Former Secretary of Defense of the United States: The war against Iraq has plunged Washington into trouble

According to the U.S. Congress Hill, former U.S. Secretary of Defense Leon Paneta equated the Iranian war with the Vietnam war and stated that the United States was already trapped in the Iranian war. The former CIA Director criticized the Trump government for its lack of clear objectives in the Iranian war. Paneta stated: “He (Trump) continues to carry out military strikes, but, as our intelligence shows, they have not changed anything in Iran.
