HSBC Bank: The encryption configuration of high net value investors decreased to 6 per cent, but 45 per cent is still planned to increase
On 28 July, the HSBC Bank released the report Afphluent Invest Snapshot 2026, which shows that the average distribution of encrypted assets in 2026 was 6 per cent, a decrease of 1 percentage point over the same period; however, 45 per cent of respondents in the next 12 months plan to improve their configuration and 40 per cent remain unchanged. The distribution of encrypted assets among investors in Singapore and Malaysia was 5 per cent and 6 per cent, respectively, the same as in the previous year; the global cash allocation fell to 19 per cent during the same period, and funds continued to be diverted to equities, gold and alternative investments。
