BEAUTY: THE WHITE HOUSE DOES NOT RULE OUT ACTION ON OPEN-SOURCE AI MODELS

On 15 July, a senior White House official, Semafor, reported in the United States financial media, stated on Tuesday that the Trump Government had left room for future administrative action to address the open source AI model. The official mentioned that, in addition to an executive order signed by Trump last month, the Government was carrying out “a great number of ongoing work”. The Executive Order established a voluntary review mechanism for the AI model. The head of the United States National Network, Sean Caircros, stated to journalists at a press conference launched by the Mechanism on 2 July that the order “also included open-source scanning and coordination mechanisms”. He added: “We cannot achieve the President's vision without protecting and strengthening our open-source ecosystems”. His remarks reflected the desire of the United States Government to strengthen the new open-source industry in the United States, which was increasingly afraid of being pushed over in competition. The recent proposal of a new framework for open-source AI models by enterprises, including Reflecting AI, to the Trump Government has given rise to speculation that the Government may issue executive orders or other relevant guidance documents. DeepSeek started new financing, and the first round of failed investors started again

On 15 July, several traders indicated that the second round of financing for DeepSeek, an artificial intelligence model company, had begun negotiations. According to two traders, DeepSeek began a new round of financing at this time, one of which was due to the “overstretched supply” of the previous round, with too much money queuing for entry, and investment agencies that had previously failed to make a successful entry were actively taking over the new round. According to one of the traders, these first round of queuing was “in theory impossible”. Another investor, who had failed to do so, insisted that he would do so regardless of DeepSeek ' s valuation. According to the early release of In A, Patrick Munnelly of the Tickmill Group stated that the US Science and Technology Block would benefit if oil prices were stable and investors were expected to lower interest rates on the Fed. Rising oil prices have contributed to market pricing that reflects the higher potential of the Fed to raise interest rates in the coming months and has weakened the demand for risky assets. The bulk ship Luni sank in the Strait of Hormuz

A VIDEO FOOTAGE SHOWS THAT THE BULK CARGO VESSEL LUNI (IMO NO. 90707111) HAD A FRACTURED DRAGON BONE NEAR THE PORT OF ABBAS, WHICH EVENTUALLY BROKE IN TWO PIECES AND SANK IN THE SHALLOW SEA FLOOR OF THE ANCHORAGE NORTH OF THE STRAIT OF HORMUZ. THE LUNI SHIP IS 32 YEARS OLD AND HAS LONG EXCEEDED ITS NORMAL LENGTH OF SERVICE. THERE HAVE BEEN NO AUTHORITATIVE REPORTS OF SINKING, BUT THERE ARE RUMOURS THAT IT HAD COLLIDED WITH ANOTHER MERCHANT SHIP A FEW DAYS AGO, CAUSING DAMAGE TO THE HULL, WHICH SPREAD RAPIDLY AND EVENTUALLY LED TO A CATASTROPHIC ACCIDENT. IN ADDITION, THE FRACTURE OF A DRAGON BONE MAY BE THE RESULT OF A HEAVY TORPEDO ATTACK OR A RAPID SINKING ATTACK. BOTH METHODS OF ATTACK DETONATED LARGE EXPLOSIVE PAYLOADS BELOW THE CENTRAL PART OF THE VESSEL, FORCING IT TO EJECT AND FRACTURE. ALTHOUGH THE UNITED STATES FORCES HAVE BEEN CARRYING OUT HEAVY STRIKES IN THE AREA OF THE PORT OF ABBAS, NO KINETIC ATTACK ON THE LUNI HAS BEEN REPORTED. KIM XIAN
