Windows Therapeutics (Nasdark CM:WINT) is making a major move in the area of digital assets by announcing a financing plan totalling up to $520 million, almost entirely for the acquisition of BNB encrypted currency. The strategy included a $500 million equity credit line (ELOC) and a $20 million equity purchase agreement with Build and Build Corp, of which 99 per cent of the proceeds would be for BNB purchases.

According to the bulletin, ELOC highlighted the desire of Windtree to diversify its balance sheets through assets based on block chains while maintaining its traditional biotechnology operations. This financing is part of a broader project of the company to position Windtree as a hybrid innovator in the health care and digital finance sectors.

“We are very pleased to be able to use these new facilities to achieve our future BNB acquisition as part of our BNB Treasury strategy. Access to additional funds for the purchase of more BNB encrypted currency is crucial for us. According to Jed Latkin, the chief executive officer of Windtree.

In conjunction with the initiatives previously announced, the company expects its commitment to BNB to reach $700 million, marking one of the largest corporate treasury strategies for a single alternative currency.

Windtree indicated that these initiatives were aimed at enhancing shareholder values through the growth potential of BNB and the mobility of block chain ecosystems.
