Apple highlights Siri AI and Apple Industries this month, but iOS 27 updates do not focus only on generation AI. The new system also covers common applications such as maps, searches, wallets, payments, music and podcasts, with emphasis on daily use experience and cross-equipment.

Apple Wallet joined the smart split.

In this update, Apple Wallet is one of the more varied applications. Apple has been added to the instrument scanning and split-up function, where users can scan receipts directly with an iPhone camera and then share the costs with friends through Apple Cash.

This function is supported by Apple Intelligence, which identifies the individual items on the receipt and calculates the amount to be borne by each individual, while including taxes and tips in the outcome. Upon completion of the calculation, the user can initiate a repayment through an information application or a Wallet.

Wallet also added a new digitized entity membership card and scorecard. Users can scan bar codes or digital cards and save them directly to Wallet. The associated pass will also support Apple Watch and will be fixed in Smart Stack to facilitate quick call.

Synchronization of hotel keys and payment processes

Apple also improved the hotel key experience in Wallet. Users of cooperative hotels and resorts can view process information, schedule, service and real-time updates in Wallet, in addition to using iPhone or Apple Watch.

For Apple Pay, apples adjust the online and applied closing interface. It would be easier for the user to switch the payment card, while viewing the incentive balance, the debit card account balance and available instalments.

Apple indicates that, later this year, eligible users can also charge the debit card directly to Wallet or Apple Pay when closing the account.

Maps, search and content applications continue to expand

The "Flyover" function of Apple Maps was also updated. According to Apple, the new version will provide more detailed city and landmark 3D images and improve the flow of viewing.

In Find My, the user will be able to temporarily suspend the location of a single contact for a maximum duration until the end of the day. This design is mainly for temporary scenarios, such as avoiding early exposure to party arrangements.

Apple Music continues to expand the lyrics. Apples add seven groups of language translation support and add lyrics to five groups to help users sing songs that are not their mother tongue. AutoMix will also bring a smoother match of songs, extending from iPhone to Apple TV and HomePod.

In addition, the new Apple Podcasts program has a search function that supports direct access to content in individual podcasts, covering iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Vision Pro and the web page. Apple also brought video podcasts to Mac and Apple TV.

Apple indicates that these features are now open to testing by developers and that the open-test version will be launched next month.
