Lubin stands up to Buterin and says he's still the most important guardian of the Ether House

At a time when the prices of the Taifung have fallen and community discussions have risen, Joseph Lubin, co-founder of Connsensys, publicly defended Vitalik Buterin, claiming that he remains the most important contributor and guardian of the ecology of the Taifang. The controversy not only points to Buterin's personal choice, but also to outside concerns about the recent situation of the Etherak Foundation.

Controversy comes from a novel on governance.

Buterin is currently writing a science fiction novel on decentralised governance and has published the first two chapters on his personal website. It was mentioned that novels were set up in a fictional country, covering mechanisms such as secondary voting, AI support decision-making, etc.

This work is intended to discuss the limitations of DAO, including financial imbalances, through fictional narratives. However, this practice has led to challenges in the encrypted community and some members have publicly expressed their grievances.

The Foundation changes and magnifies community emotions.

The timing of this discussion is more sensitive. In addition to the apparent fall in the price of the Taifung, the Etherfung Foundation has recently received attention for the departure of its core members. It was reported that nine core members had left the Foundation.

Against the backdrop of both market constraints and organizational changes, Buterin has focused on novel writing and has been seen by some community members as incompatible with the current ecological situation, which has further widened the controversy.

Lubin emphasizes the long-term positioning of the Taicha.

Lubin, for his part, made it clear that Buterin's novels were either seen by the outside world as an effective way of promoting growth and adoption of the Taicha or as a failure to focus. He says Buterin is still a “extremely efficient communicator”.

According to Lubin, this kind of creation around the subject of privacy and password punk is not divorced from the long-term direction of the Taifung. He also stated that the world still needed a digital assets clearing platform with credible neutrality, resistance to censorship, open-source attributes and privacy features, and that the Taifung Foundation was still the most appropriate institution to uphold that vision.
