Following the stabilization of Bitcoin above $64,000, the market's focus this week has returned to macrodata and regulatory progress in the United States. With the formal signing of the peace agreement between the United States and Iraq and the easing of air traffic pressure in the Strait of Hormuz, short-term inflationary concerns associated with energy prices have cooled, but tight liquidity expectations continue to affect risk asset pricing.
This week, look at US inflation.
The most interesting data this week is the May core PCE price index in the United States, which will be released on June 25, Eastern Time. The market is currently expected to grow at 3.3 per cent per year, at the same rate as the previous value, with the ring comparison projected at 0.24 per cent, slightly above the previous value of 0.2 per cent.
On the same day, the U.S. will publish the end of the first quarter of GDP and the number of people who will start unemployment benefits as of June 20th. The market's judgement of the short-term easing space may continue to shrink if the adhesiveness of inflation continues and employment data are still not significantly weakened.
In the euro area, the manufacturing and services PMI openings will also be available within the week. For the encrypted market, the impact of macro-data continues to be channelled mainly through dollar liquidity, interest rate expectations and risk preferences.
U.S. regulatory initiation of joint consultation
The US SEC and CFTC will launch a new joint public consultation from June 22, focusing on the data submission framework. The window covers 60 days and aims to harmonize regulatory reporting requirements for the swap market and the digital asset derivatives market.
While this arrangement is not a direct new location, it has a real impact on trading platforms, derivatives participants and compliance service providers. If the two regulators follow up on the harmonization of calibres, there may be a convergence of information disclosure and reporting processes in the digital asset derivatives market.
D.A.O. Votes and tokens unlocked.
In terms of chain governance, Lido DAO, ssv.network DAO, Goldfinch DAO and GnosisDAO will be closing this week. Among these, the Lido topics include the upgrading of the pledge route, preparation for a hard-drive fort with Pectra, and the adjustment of part of the multi-chain interface.
Goldfinch DAO is voting on the orderly closure of Goldfinch Prime and the transfer of the agreement to a maintenance model dominated by stock borrowing recovery. GnosisDAO, for its part, is discussing a treasury foreclosure proposal that allows GNO holders to exchange their share of the current assets of DAO in proportion to their net asset value.
- June 22, MegaETH Bridge unlocked 2.5%, approximately $13.71 million
- On 23 June, Toncoin unlocked 0.72 per cent, approximately $56.63 million
- 24 June, Humanity unlocked 2.93 per cent, approximately $52.67 million
Overall, short-term moods in the market have recovered from earlier periods, but the week is still subject to continuous tests of inflation data, regulatory signals and supply changes on the chain. If bitcoin continues to hold the $64,000 line, the further recovery of risk preferences will depend on the continued easing of macrodata.
