Coinbase bitcoin's negative premium has been going on for 75 days, the longest ever
On 1 August, according to CoinGlass data, the Coinbase bitcoin premium had been in the negative range for 75 consecutive days from 19 May to 1 August, the latest reported - 0.0959 per cent, continuing the record of the longest consecutive negative premium since the indicator was introduced. The longest record was 40 consecutive days from January 16 to February 24 this year, and more than 30 consecutive days of negative premiums during last year's 1011 crash. The Coinbase bitcoin premium index is used to measure the price differential between CoinbasePro and Binance. The index continues to be negative, usually meaning that Coinbase offers are relatively low, reflecting weak purchasing or high sales pressure on the United States market, but it is not appropriate to rely on this indicator to directly identify institutional funds as being flowing。
